Welcome to the Laboratory of Calcium signallings, Pharmacogenomics & Immune repertoire
This laboratory was established in 2009 (Department of Genomics Medicine, Kaohsiung Medical University). This laboratory is to conduct researches to determine how we could apply human genetic information to personalized therapy. Our current studies focus on calcium channel related genes and immune repertoire. Through genomic analysis, we expect to identify useful biomarkers that could be translated into clinical tools. We hope the genetic information identified from our population help us to improve clinical diagnosis and to facilitate the development of therapy. The major subjects are as follows.
1. Genetic characterization of calcium channel related genes to establish personalized therapy.
2. Immune repertoire and human disease susceptibility or drug responsiveness.
